Who controls your information
ABC Magic is the trading name used by Pat Fallon for professional entertainment services. For the purposes of this website contact form, the data controller is Pat Fallon, ABC Magic. You can contact the business at info@abcmagic.ie or by phone on +353 87 270 1201.
What information we collect
When you send an enquiry through this website we collect the information you choose to provide: your name, email address, phone number, subject and message. We also receive limited technical information needed to protect the form and deliver the website, such as IP address, browser metadata and security challenge results.
Why we use it and our legal basis
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, discuss a potential booking or service request, keep a record of the enquiry, and protect the website against spam or abuse. The legal bases relied on are: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and the controller’s legitimate interests in running the business, answering enquiries and securing the website.
Processors and international transfers
This website is delivered through Cloudflare, which acts as a processor for hosting, performance and security services. Enquiry emails are sent through Resend, which acts as a processor for email delivery. Resend is a United States-based provider, so personal data may be transferred outside the EEA. For those transfers the intended basis is the provider’s contractual safeguards, including the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, together with any supplementary measures applied by the provider. This wording should be checked by the client before publication.
How long we keep enquiry data
Website enquiries should only be kept for as long as needed to respond to the enquiry, handle any follow-up and maintain ordinary business records. Unless a longer period is needed for an active booking, dispute, tax record or legal claim, the intended retention period for routine website enquiries is up to 24 months.
Your rights
If EU or UK data protection law applies to your enquiry, you may have the right to request access to your personal data, rectification of inaccurate data, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing, and data portability where applicable. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, although this form is not primarily relying on consent as its legal basis.
